Bin Laden at son's wedding

The Saudi dissident Osama Bin Laden is reported to have attended the wedding in Afghanistan of his son to the daughter of one of his aides.

Television pictures of the ceremony were broadcast by the Qatari satellite channel, Al-Jazeera.

It said the wedding took place in the southern Afghan city of Kandahar on Tuesday.

Osama Bin Laden, who's believed to be living in Afghanistan, is accused by the United States of masterminding attacks on two US embassies in East Africa in 1998 which left more than two-hundred people dead.

The United Nations decided last month to impose fresh sanctions on Afghanistan to press the Taleban to hand him over for trial.
