Schroeder appoints new agriculture minister |
| German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder has begun the process of rebuilding his cabinet team after two ministers resigned over the country's growing BSE crisis. The Green Party's co-leader, Renate Kuenast, is replacing Karl-Heinz Funke as agriculture minister.
