Turkey-China agreement
The foreign ministers of Turkey and China have agreed to increase their co-operation in tourism, agriculture, transport and investment. The two men -- Ismail Cem of Turkey and Tang Jiaxuan of China -- signed an agreement in Ankara. Mr Tang also signed an agreement to finance on the construction of a railway linking the eastern Turkish city of Kars to the Georgian capital of Tbilisi, one of the last missing lines that will eventually link China to the Mediterranean through central Asia.
