Vital exchange of views

Huw Edwards will be presenting The Exchange

We have had the Christmas break and now it is time to get The Exchange up and running again.

I really enjoyed the first three programmes before Christmas.

It was great being part of The Exchange and hearing what makes you angry, annoyed and upset, also hearing what you want done about it.

I think the politicians also enjoyed taking part - sometimes it has been an uncomfortable experience for them, but they are getting your views and they know they have to listen and learn.

So whether you came along to the Coal Exchange in Cardiff Bay, emailed or wrote, or just watched The Exchange from the comfort of you own home, I would like to say a big thank you to you for taking part.

We have got three more programmes in store - the politicians are ready and raring to go - and hopefully you are as well.

We are doing two more shows in Cardiff and then we are making an appearance at the Llysfasi Agricultural College at Ruthin in Denbighsire.

It is difficult to predict what we will be discussing at The Exchange but we might be taking a look at the national health service and asking if it's a "rationed health service".

I expect we could also get round to the crisis affecting rural Wales and we could also ask whether Wales is a united nation or is there a north south divide.
