Musharraf signs accords with Syria
Pakistan's military ruler, Pervez Musharraf, has signed several agreements on cooperation with Syria during a visit to Damascus. The accords cover agriculture, science and technology, and information. General Musharraf had talks with the Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad, yesterday after his arrival in Damascus at the start of a four-day visit to the Middle East, which will also take him to Jordan and Lebanon.
