FARC downbeat on Colombia peace talks

Colombia's main guerrilla movement, the Revolutionary Armed Forced of Colombia, or FARC, has acknowledged that there's been little progress in two years of peace talks with the government.

In an interview on Sunday to mark the second anniversary of the start of talks, a FARC spokesman, Raul Reyes, said the group would not return to the negotiating table until the government clearly stated its policy towards guerrilla groups.

Despite the lack of substantive progress, Mr Reyes said much good had come from the talks, including an agenda and a means of communicating with the government after twelve years of silence.
