Looking to the future
	China has opened the first stretch of a highway designed to funnel prosperity from its richer neighbours in Southeast Asia to China. The six lane expressway will connect China's southwestern city of Kunming with the Thai capital, Bangkok. But there are fears the new road may also help promote the spread of less welcome cargo. The BBC's Adam Brookes reports:
