Bulger killers to remain anonymous
The High Court has ruled that anonymity for the killers of James Bulger should be maintained following their release from custody. Lawyers for Jon Venables and Robert Thompson, who are both now 18, successfully argued they were uniquely notorious, and there was a serious risk they would be the victims of revenge attacks.
