Football star 'foiled break-in'

A youth has been arrested after a violent incident at the home of the Everton footballer, Duncan Ferguson. Police were called to the house in Lancashire after reports that two people had broken in. One of the intruders - a 21-year-old man - is now in hospital. Police say he's not seriously hurt. Duncan ferguson is said to have suffered slight injuries, although he didn't require hospital treatment. In 1995, he was jailed for head-butting an opponent while he was with Rangers.
