Martin Crozier's body was found in Lenadoon on Sunday morning
Police in Northern Ireland have launched a murder investigation after the body of a man was found in west Belfast.

Martin Crozier, 20, was found stabbed to death in Creeslough Park, Lenadoon, just after 0300GMT on Sunday.

The victim was seen getting into a taxi outside Caffrey's bar on the Falls Road shortly before his death.

Police at Woodbourne barracks are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time or who has information about the killing to contact them.

Knife recovered

They are also looking for the taxi-driver who drove the car in which Mr Crozier travelled from the pub.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a man is seriously ill in hospital after he was stabbed in north Belfast.

The 42-year-old man was found lying at the junction of Mountcollyer Street and North Queen Street just after half past midnight in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident and the police have recovered a knife for examination.
