Clashes on Cambodian anniversary

There have been clashes in the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh, on the twenty-second anniversary of the overthrow of the Khmer Rouge regime.

Hundreds of police broke up an anti-Vietnamese demonstration by opposition supporters outside the Cambodian parliament.

Vietnamese troops ousted the Khmer Rouge after four years in power in which over one-and-a-half million people died.
