Plane lands safely in Bergen
Bergen airport
The plane landed safely at Bergen airport
A Boeing-737 on a Norwegian internal flight has landed safely at Bergen airport after faulty instruments caused a fire scare.

There were 19 passengers and crew on board the Braathens' flight from Oslo.

The plane waited to land at Bergen's Flesland airport until emergency teams were in position.

But an airline spokesman said that there had been no fire on board, contrary to earlier fears.

A faulty instrument in the cockpit had wrongly indicated a fire.

Fire fighters and police went on full alert ahead of the landing.
