Russian reports worry Poland and Lithuania
Poland and Lithuania say they are concerned about American reports that Russia has moved tactical nuclear weapons back into its military base in Kaliningrad on the Baltic Sea. Warsaw says it wants to discuss the issue with its NATO allies and has called for international inspectors to be sent to the enclave. The American reports -- attributed to unnamed US officials -- have been flatly denied by Russia. The BBC defence correspondent says if they are true, Russia would be breaking its own stated policy of maintaining Kaliningrad as a nuclear weapons free zone.
