| Many in Northern Ireland associate Irish culture and the Gaelic language with the nationalist and Republican cause. And the attempt by a small number of Protestant Unionists to create their own alternative identity through Ulster Scots has been derided. But change is afoot - the devolved government has allocated £1.3 million to develop and protect the Ulster Scots language and heritage. The BBC's David Eades reports: |
