| Over thirty years on, the people of Laos are still suffering from America's secret war in their land-locked and impoverished country. Thousands of unexploded bombs lie strewn across many parts of Laos, and are still claiming dozens of lives and obstructing economic development so badly needed in the South East Asian country. But the people of Laos are putting all their efforts behind eradicating these lethal reminders of their country's wartime past. The BBC's Simon Ingram reports: |
