Full list of numeracy summer schools

Each summer school will have places for 30 pupils.

The government is setting up 51 summer numeracy schools in England to give 11-year-olds the chance to improve their arithmetic during the school holidays.

Among the schools included in the pilot scheme is The Ridings in Halifax, West Yorkshire, which the Education Secretary, David Blunkett, visited last Friday to hear how it had overcome its reputation for appalling discipline.
