Hrithik protests continue in Nepal

The Indian film star, Hrithik Roshan, who's been the focus of a week of protests by thousands of people in Nepal, has again denied making derogatory comments.

He's been accused of saying that he hated Nepal and its people.

But in an interview with the BBC, Mr Roshan said he hadn't done anything wrong, and wanted to tell the Nepalese people that he loved them.

Protests have continued in Kathmandu; reports say demonstrators burnt tyres in the streets and attacked shops, some of them owned by Indians.

Cinemas have stopped screening Hindi films for a week.

The government of Nepal has appealed for calm. On Tuesday, four people were killed and dozens injured when demonstrators clashed with police in Kathmandu.
