Israel seals off territories
Thursday's blasts came as Middle East peace efforts were faltering following the cancellation of a planned summit between Israeli, Palestinian and Egyptian leaders to discuss US peace proposals. Despite the latest violence, US President Bill Clinton remains optimistic about the prospects for a peace deal between the two sides. The BBC's Paul Adams reports from Jerusalem.
