Yugoslavia issues ultimatum
The government of Yugoslavia says it will force armed Albanian militants out of the demilitarised zone between Kosovo and the rest of Serbia, unless the United Nations acts quickly to remedy the situation. The Yugoslav statement came after a meeting of the Supreme Defence Council. The agreement with the UN setting up the demilitarised zone permits only lightly-armed police patrols. But ethnic Albanians have been infiltrating the area, killing Serbs. The BBC's Jacky Rowland reports.
