Bombs rock Pakistan

A series of bomb explosions in Pakistan has left about forty people injured, some of them seriously.

The biggest attack was in Lahore, where a bomb had been planted in a busy marketplace.

More than thirty people were wounded.

In Hyderabad, at least six were hurt when a bomb detonated on a bus. Two smaller explosions occurred elsewhere, in Faisalabad and Kharian. There was also a blast at Pakistan's army staff college in Quetta.

It's not clear whether the attacks were linked.
