Milosevic 'to face justice'
The man who is taking over as the new Prime Minister of Serbia, Zoran Djindjic, has said one of the priorities of his government will be to bring the ousted Yugoslav president, Slobodan Milosevic, to justice. Mr Djindjic was speaking in a BBC interview the day after elections in which the reformist coalition swept away the last vestiges of political power held by Mr Milosevic and his Socialist party. He said Mr Milosevic would first face charges of corruption and abuse of power, and could -- later -- be made to answer to allegations of involvement in war crimes. The victory of the Serbian opposition comes just three months after they won the federal Yugoslav poll. The alliance now has a two thirds majority in the Serbian parliament, allowing it to pass legislation unhindered. The BBC's Jacky Rowland reports.
