Macau police arrest alleged triad members

Police in Macau say they have arrested three people, who they suspect are leading members of a triad gang.

Newspaper reports say the suspects -- two women and a man -- are alleged to be close to the leader of a triad grouping known as the fourteen-K triad.

They say the man identified as Wong Tat-hou will appear in court today Monday on possible charges of criminal association and blackmail.

The women are still undergoing questioning.
