Bhutanese minister in Nepal for talks

The Bhutanese foreign minister, Jigmi Thinley, has arrived in Nepal for another round of talks on the long-running dispute over the repatriation of refugees.

One-hundred thousand ethnic Nepalese, who say they are Bhutanese, have been living in camps in Nepal for the last ten years after allegedly being evicted by the Bhutanese government.

The talks -- the tenth such official meeting -- will start tomorrow Monday.

Previous meetings have failed over differences about the number of refugees and the methods used to verify their nationality. Correspondents say no major breakthrough is expected this time, either.
