Sword recovered in second incident
![]() The sword is evidence from the first incident
Dyfed Powys police say they have recovered a sword following an incident involving at least three men in Pembroke Dock.
It is alleged the sword was brandished during the incident in the Stranraer Road and Military Road areas of the town between 0300 and 0400 GMT on Saturday. Police say a 30-year-old man has been arrested and is being questioned. Another has been ruled out of the investigation and they are still looking for the third man involved. No-one was injured and police are appealing for witnesses. It is the second incident involving a sword in Wales in the last week. A 51-year-old Pontypool man has been on bail after an incident in which a man was attacked with a sword in Varteg in the south Wales Valleys on Tuesday. Anthony Williams from Varteg was heavily bandaged to his head, arms and shoulder as he faced charges of causing grievous bodily harm and resisting police. He was given conditional bail by Newport Magistrates. |
