TENNIS: Carlos Moya of Spain has won the French Open tennis tournament, beating his fellow Spaniard, Alex Corretja, in the final in straight sets 6-3 7-5 6-3.
It was the first grand slam title for the twenty-one-year-old twelfth seed.
Moya's win comes a day after another Spaniard, Arantxa Sanchez Vicario, won the French title for women, beating Monica Seles in three sets.
