Chiapas troop ordered to withdraw |

| Mexico's new government has closed a notorious military base in Chiapas to mark the third anniversary of the Acteal massacre. Right-wing paramilitaries killed 45 people in the town of Acteal in 1997 for sympathising with the region's Zapatista rebels. One of the main rebel demands before returning to peace negotiations was the closure of the base at Amador Hernandez. The BBC's Peter Greste reports. |
