Man released after explosives questioning
![]() Explosives were found on farmland in County Kilkenny
A man who was being questioned about an explosives find in the Republic of Ireland earlier this week has been released without charge.
On Thursday another man, 25-year-old Tomas Ryan, a County Wexford electrician, appeared in court in Dublin charged with the unlawful possession of 86 sticks of gelignite in the County Kilkenny village of Kilmacow on 18 December. He was released on bail to appear in court again on 11 January. The Irish police seized four bags of the powerful Frangex explosive after a two day operation in Kilmacow on Wednesday. |
