UN exposes Angola diamond trade |

| The United Nations has released the report saying that sanctions against the Angolan rebel movement, UNITA, are hurting UNITA in its ability to wage war. The report by a UN panel of experts says UNITA has lost ground militarally in the past year but it continues to flout sanctions by making money from illegal diamond exports. The report also goes out of its way to name a cast of shady characters from around the world who are making money by stoking the flames of war in Africa. The BBC's Stephen Cviic reports |
