Madonna's baby baptised before wedding

The baptism has taken place in Scotland of the baby son of the American actress and singer Madonna and her partner, the British film director Guy Ritchie.

The ceremony took place at the cathedral in Dornoch, in northern Scotland.

It came the day before the couple are to be married at a nearby castle.

Hundreds of journalists and photographers have descended on the town in the run-up to the wedding.

But tight security arrangements are in place to protect the couple's privacy.
