Serbian elections
With only a few days left until parliamentary elections in Serbia, the former ruling Socialist Party is heading for certain defeat. The latest opinion polls suggest that the Socialists will win just over ten per cent of the vote. Party officials complain that their campaign has been hindered by a lack of access to the state media, which are now controlled by the alliance of parties which ousted Slobodan Milosevic.
