UK hunting bill clears Commons hurdle
A bill which could ban hunting with dogs in England and Wales, has cleared its first hurdle in the House of Commons. MPs have voted by a majority of 215 to continue debating the Hunting Bill. It allows the proposals to move onto the next stage of the law-making process. In the New Year MPs will be given a choice between one of three options: an outright ban, compulsory licensing of hunts, or self-regulation. The BBC's Sean Curran reports.
