Judge dismisses 'disappointing' porn case
Paula Jones
Paula Jones was paid an undisclosed sum to appear
A judge in Texas has dismissed a case brought by a prisoner that a Christmas centrefold of Paula Jones featured in Penthouse magazine was disappointing.

The lawsuit charged that the December pictorial of Ms Jones, whose sexual harassment suit against President Bill Clinton led to his impeachment, was not sufficiently revealing.

Life has its disappointments...some come out of the blue, but that doesn't mean a prisoner should sue

Judge Sam Sparks
In filing the case for $500,000 in damages, David Joyner stated he was "very mentally hurt and angered" by the pictures.

Joyner, who is serving 14 years for robbery and assault, brought the lawsuit under his "official" title - the Minister of Law of the Mandingo Warriors prison gang.

But US District Judge Sam Sparks dismissed the case with a 12-line poem and a $250 (£169) fine against Joyner for filing a frivolous legal motion.

"Life has its disappointments... some come out of the blue, but that doesn't mean a prisoner should sue," concluded Judge Sparks' poem.
