Sanchez Vicario wins French Open
And in tennis: The women's singles tournament at the French Open in Paris has been won by Arantxa Sanchez Vicario of Spain.
She beat the Yugoslav-born American player, Monica Seles, in three sets: seven-six, love-six and six-two.
It's the third time Arantxa Sanchez has taken the French Open title.
Monica Seles has also won the tournament three times.
