The Bosnian-Croat member of the collective presidency in Bosnia-Hercegovina, Kresimir Zubak, has said that corruption and cottinued opposition to the Dayton peace process were behind his decision to split from the Bosnian Croat Party, the HDZ.
Mr Zubak is forming a new political party.
The BBC South-east Europe analyst says that, with just three months to go before parliamentary elections in Bosnia, the emergence of a moderate Bosnian Croat leadership would improve the chances of ethnic-Croats returning to Serb-controlled areas in Bosnia-Hercegovina.
