Dentist and anaesthetist charged over boy's death

A teenager died after having a milk tooth removed

A dentist and anaesthetist have been charged with manslaughter following the death of a 14-year-old boy.

Bradley Miller from Barnsley in Yorkshire died nine months ago after visiting the Victoria Health Dental Surgery.

He had a rare syndrome which affects the bones and causes facial deformity.

He collapsed in the dentist's chair while having a milk tooth removed.

Dentist Neville Bainbridge and anaesthetist Prabhakar Gadgil went to Barnsley police station on Tuesday, after a nine-month investigation into Bradley's death.

They were charged with manslaughter and bailed to appear before Barnsley magistrate's court on July 31.
