Eight more dead in Karachi

At least eight more people have been shot dead in Karachi, the largest city of Pakistan.

Apart from an eleven-year-old girl killed in crossfire, the latest known fatalities were bodies recovered from various areas where fighting has been continuing between rival groups of the Muhajir Quami Movment.

Correspondents say the latest figures mean at least twenty-seven people have been killed in Karachi since the latest round of clashes began last Wednesday.
