Tuesday, June 2, 1998 Published at 15:26 GMT 16:26 UK World: Asia-Pacific Cambodia strikes agreements with Vietnam Cambodia's first prime minister, Ung Huot, has returned from a two-day visit to Vietnam, saying substantial progress has been made on several difficult issues. After talks with his Vietnamese counterpart, Phan Van Khai, Ung Huot said agreements were signed on road transportation, information co-operation and anti-drug measures; and that further talks on more contentious issues, such as disputed land and sea borders, have been scheduled for later this month.
