Police in Mexico have seized nearly fifteen-thousand turtle eggs and arrested two men after stopping a truck in the southern state of Oaxaca.

The turtles are a protected species in Mexico.

But correspondents say their eggs are frequently stolen as they can be sold around the world for their supposed aphrodisiac qualities.
