Iranian FM to Pakistan

The Foreign Minister of Iran, Kamal Kharrazi, is due in Pakistan on his first visit since taking office last year.

Speaking to reporters as he left Teheran, Mr Kharrazi said one subject for discussion would be the six nuclear tests conducted by Pakistan last week.

Correspondents say it's likely the two sides will also talk about Afghanistan.

Mr Kharrazi has just returned from a trip to Turkmenistan, which the Iranians also see as strategically important.

His talks there mainly concerned oil and gas routes from the Caspian across Iranian territory -- a subject of great interest to Pakistan.
