Bart Simpson has found his way into Time magazine's list of top 20 artists and entertainers of the 20th century with a mixture of cynicism and home truths.
Each episode of The Simpsons opens with Bart writing lines on his classroom blackboard - the content of which has come to typify the subtle humour of the programme.
