It's been confirmed that one member of the British pop group "The Spice Girls" is to leave the band.
In a statement, a lawyer for Geri Halliwell -- known as Ginger Spice -- said she was very sad about her decision, but there had been differences with the other members of the group.
A spokesman for the remaining four said their forthcoming tour of the Unied States would go ahead as planned.
The Spice Girls have sold more than thirty million albums worldwide since 1996.
