Sunday, May 31, 1998 Published at 09:17 GMT 10:17 UK World: Asia-Pacific Journalists plan to re-launch banned magazine Journalists from the Indonesian magazine, Tempo, which was banned in 1994 for running anti-government articles, say they hope to revive the publication, now the Suharto era is at an end. The journalists believe the reforms introduced by Mr Suharto's successor, B J Habibie, mean that Tempo should be able to operate once again, if funding can be found. The BBC Jakarta correspondent says Indonesia's new openess has already changed the political landscape; just two weeks ago, there were only three legal political parties, but now, he says, a whole rash are emerging including a workers' party, a women's party and even one representing drivers.
