Four Albanian soldiers have been arrested for abandoning their post and going home to sleep after weapons were stolen from their camp.

A military court spokesman said more than a hundred mortars, hundreds of machineguns and thousands of shells were stolen in the raid.

Correspondents say arms trafficking is very common in Albania where a mortar can fetch up to six thousand dollars.
