Six Muslim and Croat football teams are taking part in a tournament in Bosnia Hercegovina to decide which two will represent the country in European competitions next season.
Some of the competing teams have not met for the past six years and the BBC correspondent in Sarajevo says the tournament is a big step towards returning Bosnian football to the international scene.
Bosnian Serbs are not taking part in the event, unhappy that the international football body, FIFA, does not recognise them as a separate state.
