The Romanian president, Emil Constantinescu, is ending a three-day visit to Canada on Saturday, which has been marred by the seizure of his aircraft in a row over Romanian debts.
President Constaninescu's Boeing seven-three-seven was seized in Montreal on Wednesday after a Canadian businessman obtained a court order in a row over money with Romanian state companies.
The order was overturned the following day only after an appeal under Canadian law, which does not allow the seizure of foreign state property.
