Drugs recovered in searches
Police have seized drugs with an estimated street value of more than £420,000 in separate searches in Belfast.

Cannabis and ecstasy tablets with a street value of about £300,000 were recovered during a planned operation in Belfast on Saturday morning.

The drugs were discovered after members of the drugs squad and uniformed officers stopped two vehicles at Boucher Road in Belfast. Two men were arrested.

Another two men were arrested after police recovered cocaine estimated to be worth £120,000 in a search at a north Belfast house.

The seizure of the class 'A' drug was made during a search of a house in Henderson Avenue.

The house was searched after the police found a small amount of drugs in a car which they had stopped.

Meanwhile, ecstasy with an estimated value of £1,500 was seized during a planned search of a house in the Shantallow area of Londonderry on Saturday night. One man was arrested
