Birmingham arrest in international terrorism investigation

Police in the English city of Birmingham have arrested a man as part of an investigation into international terrorism.

A spokeswoman said police had also seized a substance which she declined to specify.

She said the inquiry was looking into international terrorism and not Irish affairs.
