Earthquake rocks Papua New Guinea

Another huge earthquake has hit eastern Papua New Guinea -- the third in two days.

The quake, which measured about seven on the Richter scale, hit the islands of New Britain and New Ireland, but first reports say it caused only caused superficial damage.

There are no reports yet of any casualties in the area, which is sparsely populated.

The authorities say aftershocks from the three quakes could continue for months.
