Curtains for Kuerten
TENNIS: The defending champion in the French Open tournament, Gustavo Kuerten of Brazil, has been knocked out in the second round.
He was beaten in five sets by Marat Safin of Russia.
Safin, a qualifier, had already caused an upset in the first round when he beat the American, Andre Agassi.
