Italy bans French beef imports |
| Italy has become the latest European country to impose a partial ban on French beef products. Britain has taken no action so far. Meanwhile, the families of two French CJD victims are starting a legal action that could end in British officials being called to give evidence. The relatives argue that the Britsh government knowingly allowed the export of BSE-contaminated feed to France. The BBC's Justin Webb reports from Paris: |
